Cinema Focus with Joel Martin

Joel Martin is an award winning journalist, author, talk show host and Cable Ace recipient. He was the longtime news director on Long Island’s top rock station, WBAB.

His books have been used as source material for Steven Spielberg’s HEREAFTER (2010) and GHOST (1990). Mr. Martin is also a contributor on HBO, CNN, NBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, American Movie Classics, Turner networks in France, England and Japan, Time Magazine and was a contributor for the TV series the X-Files as well as the Associated press.

Joel has interviewed over 20,000 personalities; authors, actors from Broadway and Hollywood, radio personalities, musicians and politicians.  Among them is Stephen King, Eli Wallach, Bob Hope, Milton Berle, Eddie Murphy, George Plimpton, Dick Clark, Christopher Reeve, Billy Joel, Lenny Montana, Harry Chapin, Ruth Warwick, Hal Hartley, Bob and Patti Lupone, Marty Feldman, Judith Christ, Arthur Laurents, Roland Perkins, Steve Allen and film historians Anthony Slide and Kevin Brownlow.
